Corrections officer pleads guilty to drunk driving |

TRAVERSE CITY — A Leelanau County Sheriff’s Department corrections officer arrived to work in "super-drunk" condition and promptly was arrested. Jeffrey Daniel Kassab worked as a corrections officer in Leelanau County for nine years and came to work at the jail drunk on Wednesday. He pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with a high blood-alcohol level at his arraignment Friday morning, Leelanau Undersheriff Steve Morgan said. Kassab is suspended with pay.
