Family, friends hold vigil for corrections officers killed in motorcycle crash

A Department of Corrections Sergeant and an officer were killed in a horrific accident on Wednesday. Now their family and friends are saying goodbye -- and helping each other cope with the loss.

The two were riding together on a motorcycle when they collided with a semi-truck -- throwing them to the road, where they were then run over by passing vehicles.

A tragedy too fresh for those who knew and loved 35-year-old John Ollis and 30-year-old Skye Orozco to fully comprehend.

Loved ones gathered on Friday to light candles, place flowers and comfort each other at the very site where Ollis and Orozco died.

"A lot of grief. We are all going to miss her immensely."

"He's the nicest guy you'd ever meet."

Ollis and Orozco somehow clipped the semi-truck as it turned into a distribution center, launching them into the air.

The semi-truck driver was not impaired and was not speeding. This appears to be a terrible accident -- one that took a young mother of four.
