Authorities say two Arizona Department of Corrections officers are dead after a motorcycle accident in Tolleson. Maricopa County Sheriff's officials have identified the victims as 35-year-old John Ollis and 30-year-old Skye Orozca. They say both worked at the Lewis state prison complex in Buckeye. Sheriff's officials say Ollis was driving a motorcycle with Orozca as a passenger Wednesday night. The motorcycle crashed into a tractor-trailer that was making a turn onto Buckeye Road from a private drive. They say Ollis was wearing a helmet but Orozca wasn't. Authorities say the two were struck by three passing vehicles and their bodies were dragged for several hundred feet. Read More. |
