Murfreesboro Police teamed up with a Tennessee Department of Corrections officer during a home visit when it was discovered that a felon had a gun and marijuana in his apartment. Officer Major wrote in a report that several small bags of marijuana were recovered along with two handguns. 19-year old Bryan C. Dawson was charged with “two counts of Altercation of Serial Numbers, two counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon and one count of Simple Possession of Marijuana.”
