| Inmate on work release did not return to center, authorities say |

A state Division of Corrections inmate did not return to the Charleston Work Release Center after leaving for his job on Monday, authorities say. John Edward Riblett left the center at about 8:30 a.m. for a work release furlough and did not return later as required, Corrections Officer Christopher Gillespie said in a news release. Riblett is described as being about 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing about 195 pounds. He has salt-and-pepper colored hair and green eyes.
