Friday the 13th of December marks the date for the annual Channel 2 “Share Your Christmas” Food Drive at the Carson Valley Inn. The long time organizers are asking everyone around town to come and drop off their food and monetary donations to benefit the Carson Valley Community Food Closet. Hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, in the north parking lot of the Carson Valley Inn. The food closet provides food relief for more than 13,000 family visits with over 380,000 meals for 2013.
