Female corrections officer involved in Mason County Jail assault arraigned |

The name of the Mason County corrections officer charged with assault at the Mason County Jail has been reported by the Ludington Daily News. The Daily News reported that the officer is Mary Lucas, 46, of Ludington, charged with the Oct. 21 incident at the Mason County Jail involving another Mason County corrections officer. Lucas, 46, of Ludington, was charged with assault and battery. She has been arraigned. She was released on personal recognizance bond and a pretrial was set for 10 a.m. Jan. 13, the Daily News reported. The Michigan Sheriff’s Association Missions Team conducted an investigation into Lucas’ alleged behavior. The results of the investigation were then turned over to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office and the warrant was issued. Read More. |
