An inmate at Central Prison in Raleigh was charged Friday with stabbing a corrections officer this week, authorities said. Orlando Gattison, 26, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury in connection with the Wednesday morning stabbing. The unidentified officer was taken to WakeMed for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Read More. |
