A criminal complaint was filed Friday in Yuma Justice Court against a corrections officer who allegedly sexually molested a female child and physically abused another young boy, charging him with four felony offenses.

When Christopher Pulling appeared before Justice of the Peace pro tem Yolonda Torok for his arraignment, she informed him that the Yuma County Attorney's Office had reviewed the case against him and was charging him with three counts of molestation of a child.

Torok went on to inform Pulling, who is a corrections officer at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Yuma, that he had also been charged with one count of aggravated assault.

In addition to ordering Pulling's bond be set at $500,000, she also assigned the case to the public defender's office to appoint an attorney to represent him. His next court date is a preliminary hearing scheduled for 4 p.m. on Dec. 14.

According to court records, an 11-year-old juvenile female claimed that Pulling would give her "front wedgies" by pulling up the front of her underwear and that he would reach his hand into her pants while doing so.

A second victim, a 14-year-old boy, claimed that Pulling hit him more than 10 times on the head chest and stomach with an open hand and his fist.
