Two DOC officers fired: Agency cites harassment and assault |

The Department of Corrections fired two employees in connection with a Taser incident in October. The two employees were fired "based on their conduct on duty," in connection with allegations that they assaulted inmates with Tasers, said Officer Jeff Limo, special assistant to the director. Director Jose San Agustin and other Corrections officials held a press conference at the Mangilao facility yesterday. Limo said the department hasn't been informed of any appeals filed by the two terminated employees with the Civil Service Commission. He added the names of the employees and further specifics about the investigation aren't being revealed to prevent jeopardizing any potential appeals of the administrative action taken.
