Norix has introduced a new polycarbonate convex mirror designed specifically for correctional environments.

Most convex mirrors are made with acrylic faces and lightweight frames, neither of which is suitable for the demanding conditions of a prison or jail setting.

Norix DuraVision(TM) mirrors feature pure silver reflective coatings covered with molded, durable, scratch-resistant polycarbonate and filled with foam inserts to reduce flexing and enhance strength. Additionally, DuraVision mirrors are held in place with 1/4" fully welded steel frames.

DuraVision mirrors are an excellent economical choice for providing an instant visual overview of a cell, corridor, dayroom, visitation area or booking area and can be used effectively with CCTV installations.

Full domes are available in 18" and 24" diameters. Half domes come in three sizes: 9" x 18", 12" x 24" and 18" x 36". Quarter domes come in 12" x 12" and
18" x 18".
