Kansas parolee fights for contact with newborn son

A Sedgwick County parolee convicted when he was 18 of having sex with a 15-year-old is trying to fight state rules that prevent him from having contact with his children.

Nathan Walker, 22, lives in a halfway house a few miles from his wife and newborn son, Noah, and his 5-year-old stepson, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported (http://bit.ly/1jEcjyd ).

Walker has started a website to fight the order from the Department of Corrections' Prisoner Review Board that prevents him from living with his wife and children. He also wants to educate "people of Kansas on sex crime laws and how they can affect our children and families in a negative way."
