The Iowa Department of Corrections says an inmate has escaped from a work-release facility in Fort Dodge. The department announced Saturday that 21-year-old Austin Dean Runnells failed to return to the facility from a job-seeking furlough. He was supposed to return Friday. Runnells is serving a 10-year sentence for a willful injury causing bodily injury conviction in Webster County. Read More. |
