| Macon County Corrections Officer Killed in Crash |

We have an update on a story we first told you about Sunday. We've learned the man killed in an accident in Macon County Saturday night was a corrections officer with the Macon County Sheriff's Department. Authorities say Michael Gordon, 58, of Loami was driving on Route 51 in Decatur when he lost control on icy roads. Macon County authorities said Gordon was off duty at the time of the crash, and was accompanied by his wife, who survived. Gordon started his career with the Macon County Sheriff's Office in 1989, and had 25 years of distinguished service. Read More. |
