| New director named for Department of Corrections |

The Oklahoma Board of Corrections on Friday named Robert Patton as the new executive director of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Patton, 50, will be paid $160,000 per year. He is the division director of operations for the Arizona Department of Corrections. He is expected to begin serving in the next three to four weeks. Patton replaces Justin Jones, who resigned last year. Gov. Mary Fallin commended the Board of Corrections for its selection. Read More. |
