SAN QUENTIN, Calif. — A Poway man convicted of strangling an ex-girlfriend to death and fatally bludgeoning her 5-year-old son in April 1985 died after a four-story fall at San Quentin State Prison, prison officials said Thursday. A San Diego judge said the killings “showed a high degree of cruelty, viciousness and callousness.” Read More. |
