State corrections officer faces suspension in drugs-for-sex case |

A 30-year employee of the Iowa Department of Corrections faces suspension after police arrested him on charges he gave crack cocaine to a woman in exchange for sex, a department official said Tuesday. Donald N. Harper, 58, of Davenport worked most recently as an offender employment specialist in the 7th Judicial District, which includes Scott County, when he went on medical leave in November, regional director Jim Wayne said. "If he's able to come back to work, he will be suspended," Wayne said. He did not disclose Harper's medical condition. Read More. |
