| Nevada prisoner dies in Carson City |

A prisoner died Monday at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City, the state Department of Corrections reported. Michael Doane, 49, died at the Regional Medical Facility in the correctional center from a chronic medical condition, officials said in a news release. His family has been notified and Doane is awaiting an autopsy. Doane was serving time from Lyon County for lewdness and sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 14, the state Department of Corrections reported. Read More. |
