(WLNS) - A 60-year-old woman accused of escaping from a Michigan prison almost four decades ago is fighting an extradition request from state corrections officials. Michigan Corrections Officials say Judy Lynn Hayman escaped from a Michigan prison in 1977 and has been living in San Diego under the name Jamie Lewis. But now the woman, who police found on Monday, claims she is Jamie Lewis and her lawyer says she will plead not guilty to being a wanted fugitive when she is in court Friday. Read More. |
