| Allred Prison Inmate Set to Plead for Capital Murder of Fellow Inmate |

An Allred Prison inmate, who was serving life for the stabbing death of a Hood County inmate, is set to plead Friday for the capital murder of an Allred Inmate in 2011. Fifty-year-old Cary Lee Bailey is charged with strangling his Allred cellmate to death. Under Texas law, killing another inmate qualifies as capital murder. Prison officials say on April 21st, 2011 Bailey told guards he had killed his cellmate, 43-year-old Douglass Bridewell. Allred personnel found Bridewell unconscious on the floor of his cell and attempted to revive him. He was later pronounced dead in the prison infirmary. Read More. |
