ACLU of RI sues state police, Corrections Department over public record fees

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island — The American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island has filed a lawsuit against state police and the Department of Corrections over fees for public records.

The Providence Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1fmhs5M ) that the state affiliate of the ACLU sued the two agencies Monday on behalf of a small community group, the Olneyville Neighborhood Association.
