MUSKEGON, MI – Muskegon Correctional Facility was placed on lockdown for several hours Wednesday, March 12, while staff searched the prison for a “maintenance tool” that had been lost the previous day. The tool was eventually found, not in the possession of a prisoner, and the lockdown ended without incident, Warden Sherry Burt said. “We did find it, staff did an outstanding job, everything was peaceful, and there were no problems,” Burt said.
