| Detention center worker charged with sex assault |

A former supervisor at the state juvenile detention center in Warrenville (Illinois) has been charged with having sexual relations with a 17-year old female inmate earlier this year. Mark Duff, 28, of Dixon has been charged with one count of criminal sexual assault for his alleged relationship that lasted from January to August at the Illinois Youth Center. Duff, who was a supervisor in the dietary unit, was in the DuPage County Jail on Nov. 2, with bond set at $500,000. His arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 29. The allegations were reported by personnel at the facility and investigated by the Illinois Department of Corrections and the DuPage County Children's Center. If convicted, Duff faces 4 to 15 years in prison. |
