STIGLER, Okla. - The hunt continues for an escaped convict in Haskell County. Authorities are concentrating their search Thursday on a wooded area near Kerr Lake, about 16 miles east of Stigler, where they believe Edward Branch may be hiding. Branch escaped from the Haskell County Jail in Stigler early Tuesday morning while waiting to be transferred to prison for first-degree burglary and aggravated assault. Read More. |
