Haskell County escapee captured nearly a week after breaking out of jail

HASKELL COUNTY, Okla. - An escaped inmate is back in custody after nearly a week on the loose.

Edward Branch, 36, broke out of the Haskell County Jail in Stigler early last Tuesday morning while awaiting transfer to prison for first-degree burglary and aggravated assault.
