A convict escaped from the Columbia River Correctional Institute Wednesday. Portland Police searched for him for several hours but did not find him. Below is a release from the Portland Police Bureau: Officers have suspended the neighborhood search for escaped inmate Matthew Medlin. Officers conducted an extensive search of the area surrounding CRCI, including an extensive search from the water along the Columbia Slough. Officers from North Precinct, the K-9 Unit and the Air Support Unit were assisted by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office and Oregon State Police during the search. Read More. |
