| 2 women arrested for smuggling drugs into prison |

ST. ALBANS – A current inmate and a former inmate were both cited Tuesday to appear in court after being accused of transporting regulated drugs into the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility in South Burlington, Vermont State Police said Wednesday. State police arrested Kelly Collins, 45, of Underhill and Erin Charbonneau, 37, of St. Albans, and both will appear in Vermont Superior Court in Burlington June 3 to answer to charges. Collins had recently been released from the facility while Charbonneau is a current inmate, state police said. Read More. |
