| Armstrong Correctional Officers Honored By Proclamation |

On a daily basis, nearly 150 inmates could be housed at the Armstrong County Jail. And every day, it is the responsibility of 57 correctional officers, guards and staff (who are being honored this week during National Correctional Officers and Employees Week) to make sure everybody is safe. That effort all starts in Central Control. Earlier this week, Officers Dave Lash and Ron Good were designated responsible for overlooking more than 110 security cameras, as well as locks on all doorways, during inmate intake, transfer between facilities or department and visitors.
