GRAFTON — Two Lorain County men were named Grafton Correctional Institute’s officer and employee of the Year. Kenneth Mandeville, of Wellington, was named Officer of the Year. Alex Figueiredo, of Elyria, was named Employee of the Year at the institution’s annual employee recognition banquet May 7. Mandeville, 31, transferred to Grafton from Toledo Correctional in November 2009. According to a news release, Mandeville is assigned to the special management unit. Read More. |
