The State of Oregon reached a $450,000 settlement on May 5 with fired Oregon Corrections Enterprises head Rob Killgore, just weeks before the case was set to go to trial in Marion County Circuit Court.

The state will pay Killgore $275,000 for "emotional distress, loss of reputation and other compensatory damage" and $25,000 in lost wages. It will pay his attorney, Richard Busse, $150,000 in legal fees, according to the settlement agreement.
