The Wisconsin Department of Corrections launched changes to the Sex Offender Registry website April 28, which enhances the public’s ability to locate registered sex offenders. Since 2001, the public has had the ability to search the Sex Offender Registry website by name or zip code. The new website includes a geographic search capability for sex offender registrants that live within a one-, two- or three-mile radius of a specific address. Read More. |
