| County moving forward on housing state inmates at jail |

The Hall County Jail could start housing state inmates as early as June 15, Corrections Director Fred Ruiz said. Ruiz and a team of representatives from the state Department of Correctional Services gave a presentation on the subject at Tuesday’s Hall County Board of Supervisors meeting, and Ruiz said he hopes it’s the first step toward putting the program in place.
