Convicted Maine bomber dies in Montana prison

HELENA, Mont. —Joseph Aceto, a Maine native who was convicted of bombing Central Maine Power Co.'s headquarters in the 1970s, has died in a Montana State Prison.

Aceto died May 20 in a prison infirmary following an extended illness, according to officials with the Montana Department of Corrections. He was 61.
