| Inmate dies after fight at Wilkinson County prison |

WOODVILLE – A prison official says one inmate died and several were injured in a fight at a prison in southwestern Mississippi that resulted in the facility being put on lockdown. Wilkinson County Correctional Facility spokesman Issa Arnita says inmate Kendrick Walker died in a fight involving six inmates Sunday afternoon in one of the prison’s housing units.
