MALONE — The state Office of General Services is soliciting bids for three construction contracts at Franklin Correctional Facility intended to improve operations and reduce costs. The bids are for construction, electrical and heating/ventilation/air conditioning upgrades on the wastewater pumping station at the prison. The estimate for the construction work is $1 million to $2 million; the electrical work is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000, and the HVAC work is estimated to be less than $25,000.
