| Inmate dies in hospice care |

A man who was recently moved from a Nevada prison to a Las Vegas hospice center died on Saturday, corrections department officials say. Charles Smith was 53 when he was hospitalized late in April for what officials called a chronic medical condition. He was moved from hospital care to hospice care at the end of May. Read More. |
