| Otago prisoner re-captured after week on the run |

Updated 4:09pm: The Department of Corrections is set to undertake a review of how an Otago Prison inmate managed to escape. Stephen Maddren was recaptured today, a week following his escape from the Milton prison. Prison manager Jack Harrison says they'll be interviewing staff, fellow prisoners and those involved in the search. He says they can't comment any further until the review has been undertaken.
