JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrested a woman Monday morning who was wanted for escaping their custody.

Police did not say where they found Trishawnna Mitchell, 32, or if she resisted arrest.

Police originally responded to McDuff Avenue on Sunday in reference to a battery/domestic violence call. They arrested Mitchell and took her to the Duval County pre-trial detention facility.

Mitchell fled the facility through exit doors while they were open, according to JSO. Police said at the time, many police vehicles were entering and exiting the facility.

Video surveillance shows Mitchell was able to remove one handcuff prior to fleeing.
