| Nebraska State Prisoners Back On The Streets Early |

Some of the state's worst offenders are out of prison and back roaming the streets, without completing their prison sentence. It took an Omaha World Herald investigation for Nebraska's public officials to notice the mistake. That's raised another red flag on the problems within the state's prison system. Senator Seiler said that Nebraska prison officials have been incorrectly calculating the sentences of prisoners. He says the correct way has been clearly spelled out by the state legislature and the Supreme Court. More than one hundred of the state's worst offenders are no longer behind bars.
