Wyoming Inmate Griswold Dies in Torrington

Cheyenne – Homer L. Griswold, an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Banner Health Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyoming.

Griswold was sentenced on December 4, 1998, by Campbell County District Court Judge Dan R. Price II. He was serving a life sentence for multiple counts of Sexual Assault in the Second Degree and Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Griswold was born on July 1, 1948, in Indianapolis, IN.

As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
