BAY ST. LOUIS -- Perry Decedrio Thomas, one of two men who escaped from the Hancock County jail about 5:06 p.m. Sunday, was being sought later Sunday evening, Chief Deputy Don Bass said. Sheriff's officials believe Thomas, 28, and Montrell Lederick McPherson, 21, scaled the fence around the recreation yard.
