Two weeks after taking in state prisoners, the Hall County Department of Corrections is now housing 35 inmates. This week they will be taking in around 10 more prisoners. The goal is to take in between 80 to 100 inmates by the end of this year. Lancaster County Jail has been open for less than a year and is close to reaching its population limit, but Fred Ruiz, Director of the Hall County Department of Corrections says there's plenty of room.
