CHESHIRE – A total of 156 correctional officers graduated Tuesday after eleven weeks of intensive training at the Maloney Center for Training and Staff Development. Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman made congratulatory remarks to the graduating class. World-renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry C. Lee served as guest speaker. The event kicked off at 11 a.m. at the Maloney Center, 275 Jarvis St., where over 400 officers, family and friends packed the assembly room to celebrate.
