DELANO, Calif. (AP) -- California authorities say an inmate has died at a prison in the Central Valley and his cellmate is considered a suspect. The state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said Tuesday that 63-year-old Donald Cook was found unresponsive in his cell at North Kern State Prison on Sunday. He had visible injuries and was pronounced dead after he was taken to an outside hospital. Read More. |
