An escapee from the Staton Correctional Facility was caught after a chase with Elmore and Autauga county law-enforcement officials following a home invasion Sunday night. Tanearus Maquale Collins escaped the facility Sunday night in Elmore County. Between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. the Elmore County Sheriff's office responded to a home invasion on the 1600 block of Highway 143. Read More. |
