SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - A former South Carolina prison guard has been sentenced for providing inmates key impressions to help them escape. The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reports that 25-year-old Jeffrey Miller of Enoree was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison, which was suspended to the time he had served. Miller resigned as a corporal at medium-security Tyger River prison in Spartanburg County when authorities began investigating him last year. Read More. |
