CLERMONT — After 23 years on the lam, lead-footed driving finally spurred the capture of a woman who walked away from a Connecticut halfway house and her remaining time sentenced there, authorities said Wednesday. A woman initially identified as Christina Ramirez, 52, of Davenport was pulled over Sunday night going 12 mph over the 40-mph speed limit in a Kia Spectra at Fifth Street and State Road 50. An officer who ran a records check discovered a 1991 Connecticut warrant against her for escape, police said. Read More. |
