An escaped prisoner from Tennessee and his wife were behind bars in Norman, Okla., last Tuesday after the US Marshals arrested the pair outside a city restaurant. Albert Washington Meadows, Jr. and his wife Kristie Meadows are being held in the Cleveland County Jail on escape charges out of Sumner County, Tennessee. Tennessee authorities say Albert Meadows escaped from a Tennessee prison work site last week with the help of his wife. State and federal officials were able to track him down after tracing the use of his credit card. The Sumner County Sheriff's office says the Meadows' 9-month-old child, who was with them when they were arrested, has been placed in the custody of Oklahoma's Department of Human Services. |
