| Inmates Raise Over $1700 For Flood Recovery |

Many towns are still recovering from intense flooding that hit in the last month with residents looking for aid and funds to repair damages. Today, the Lincoln County Recovery Fund in Canton received help from a very unlikely source. Inmates from the South Dakota Department of Corrections raised over $1700 for the recovery fund. The penitentiary works with a local Pizza Ranch and inmates are allowed to order food out of pocket, with the idea that a dollar or two from the meal goes towards a charity. Read More. |
