AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Officials say a Maine Correctional Center inmate who was allowed to serve his sentence in the community has died. The Department of Corrections said 65-year-old Charles Edmond Fulcher died early Tuesday while participating in the Supervised Community Confinement program, which allowed him to stay outside the prison.
